Once monthly, the SFAA hosts distinguished guest speakers who are leaders in the fields of astronomy, physics and related disciplines and they present to SFAA Members the latest developments from cutting-edge scientific programs.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are presenting our lecture online rather that at our usual lecture location at the Randall Museum Theater.

Topic: “Variable Stars and Their Stories”

Speaker: Dr. Stella Kafka, Executive Director, American Association of Variable Star Observers

IMPORTANT: Starting this month, lectures will begin one hour earlier, with users initiating online connections at 6:30 PM, announcements at 6:45PM, and the speaker beginning promptly at 7:00 PM.
