City Star Parties – held in San Francisco at the Presidio Main Parade Lawn, the USS San Francisco Memorial at Lands End, the Randall Museum, or other announced locations.
Come out and join us for a great viewing range and low light conditions. New members who bring their telescopes will have access to the collective wisdom of more-experienced members to answer scope questions. (View this short City Star Party video featuring long-time member George Teiber.)
Bring layers…it can get cold. Please also remember your red lights and plan to dim your car lights if you arrive in the dark or leave early, and familiarize yourself with our Star Party Etiquette Guidelines.
Have a specific telescope question? Contact us before the party to make sure someone has expertise to help you.
Check out our Calendar for the next city star party. See you there!
